Welcome to Qifl ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by TigerApps / AKZ Marketing LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application Qifl — Private Photo & Video Vault ("the App").
Qifl is a private media vault app that lets you securely store photos, videos, audio, and documents on your Android device using military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption. All encrypted files are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
By using the App, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information You Provide:
✅ Your vault PIN, encrypted files, and all personal media are stored exclusively on your device. We never receive or store your photos, videos, or vault contents on our servers.

We do NOT collect:
All files you import into Qifl are encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM — the same encryption standard used by banks and government institutions. Encryption and decryption happen entirely on your device.
✅ Without your correct PIN, your files cannot be decrypted — not by us, not by anyone. If you forget your PIN, your files cannot be recovered.
Qifl is built on a zero-knowledge architecture. This means TigerApps / AKZ Marketing LLC has no technical ability to access, view, decrypt, or recover your vault contents — under any circumstances.
🚫 We cannot access your files. We do not hold any master key, recovery key, backdoor, or administrative override that could decrypt your vault. This is a technical impossibility by design — not a policy choice.

✅ If you contact us claiming you have lost access to your vault, we are not withholding access — we genuinely cannot provide it. We have no special keys, no backdoor, and no way to bypass the encryption. This protects you from us as much as it protects you from anyone else.
What you should do to avoid losing access:
⚠️ If you lose your PIN and have no recovery codes and no backup, your vault data is permanently unrecoverable. No support request, legal order, or technical workaround can bypass AES-256-GCM encryption without the correct key. Please keep your PIN and recovery codes safe.
Qifl includes a disguise feature that makes the app appear as a different utility (Calculator, Weather, Flashlight, or Notes) on your home screen and in the recent apps list. This protects your privacy from people who may glance at your phone.
⚠️ The Weather disguise uses wttr.in's free public API, which determines approximate location from your device's public IP address. No GPS coordinates are sent. This happens only when the weather disguise screen is open.
Qifl requests access to your device's camera and photo library for the following purposes:
The camera is only accessed when you explicitly take an action within the app. Qifl never opens the camera in the background and never accesses your gallery without your explicit tap.
✅ You can revoke camera and storage permissions at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Qifl → Permissions. Import features will stop working, but your existing encrypted vault remains fully accessible.
Qifl offers an optional encrypted backup to your personal Google Drive account. This feature is entirely optional and must be manually initiated by you.
✅ Your Google credentials are never seen or stored by us. Authentication is handled entirely by Google's OAuth system. We only receive a limited-scope access token to write encrypted backup files to your own Drive.
Qifl includes a local Wi-Fi transfer feature that lets you transfer files between your phone and computer on the same Wi-Fi network. No internet connection or external server is involved.
Qifl free users see advertisements through Google AdMob (Privacy Policy):
AdMob may use a Google Advertising ID and basic device information to serve relevant ads. You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
Qifl Pro subscribers (monthly, annual, or lifetime) do not see any advertisements.
✅ Ads are never shown inside the vault itself — only in outer app screens. Your private content is never visible to advertisers.
Qifl offers optional Pro upgrades processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store any payment information — all transactions are handled securely by Google Play.
Available plans:
Pro features include: unlimited file imports, pro disguise modes (Weather, Flashlight, Notes), no ads, Google Drive backup, Wi-Fi transfer, multiple vaults, intruder detection, and all future updates.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Google Play Store account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.

All local app data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app or use Android Settings → Apps → Qifl → Storage → Clear Data.
The App uses the following third-party services:
Qifl is intended for users 13 years of age and older. The app is designed for private personal media storage and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has used this app, please contact us at the email below so we can take appropriate action.
Qifl is available worldwide. Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, your data does not leave your country except in the following limited cases:
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, and delete your data. Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise these rights by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. For any questions, contact us using the email below.
Qifl does not require an account, so all your data is stored locally and under your full control at all times.
✅ To delete all your data: uninstall Qifl, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Qifl → Storage → Clear Data. This immediately and permanently deletes all encrypted vault contents, your PIN, and all settings.

To request deletion of any data we may hold (e.g., AdMob-related identifiers managed by Google), contact us at the email below and we will assist within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
