👋 Introduction

Welcome to SubKeeper ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by TigerApps / AKZ Marketing LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application SubKeeper — Subscription & Bill Tracker ("the App").

SubKeeper helps you keep track of your recurring subscriptions and bills — streaming services, phone plans, rent, insurance, utilities, and more. You enter the subscriptions you want to track, and SubKeeper shows you your monthly total, upcoming charges, savings when you cancel, and budget progress. Everything is calculated and stored on your device.

By using the App, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

📱 Information We Collect

Information You Provide (stored locally on your device only):

• Names of subscriptions and bills you add (e.g. "Netflix", "Rent", "Phone bill")
• Prices and billing cycles you enter
• Start dates and billing dates
• Optional notes on each subscription
• Categories (Streaming, Music, Phone, Rent, Insurance, etc.)
• Currency preference
• Optional monthly budget goal
• Usage log (if you tap "I used this today" on a subscription)
• Language preference and theme choice
• Notification reminder preferences

Automatically Collected Information (by Google Play, not by us):

• Standard Google Play app installation and update metrics (how many people install, crash reports, country of install)
• Device type and Android version — as reported to Google Play, not to us

Information We Do NOT Collect:

• ❌ Your name, email, or phone number
• ❌ Your location
• ❌ Your contacts
• ❌ Your payment information (Google Play handles all purchases)
• ❌ Your actual bank or card transaction data — we never connect to your bank
• ❌ Your subscription list, prices, or any financial data
• ❌ Photos, microphone audio, or any other device sensors

🔄 How Your Data Is Stored

On your device (local storage):

• All subscriptions, bills, budget, savings, and settings are stored in your phone's private app storage
• Data is accessible only to SubKeeper — other apps cannot read it

Android Auto Backup (optional, handled by Google):

• If you have Google Account backup enabled, Android automatically includes SubKeeper's data in your personal Google Drive backup (up to 25 MB, same as any app)
• This backup is your personal Google Drive — it is NOT sent to us, and it is encrypted by Google
• You can disable this in your Android Settings → Google → Backup
• When you restore your phone or install SubKeeper on a new device, your subscriptions are automatically restored from this backup

Manual backup (optional, you control it):

• In Settings → Your data, you can export a backup file containing all your SubKeeper data
• This file is saved wherever you choose (Downloads, Google Drive, email, etc.)
• SubKeeper does not send this file anywhere — only you decide what to do with it

📢 Advertising

SubKeeper does not display any advertisements. There are no banners, no popups, no rewarded ads, no sponsored content. We do not use any ad network or ad SDK.

We do not plan to add advertising in any future version of SubKeeper.

🛒 In-App Purchases

SubKeeper offers optional in-app purchases processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store any payment information. All transactions are handled securely by Google Play.

Available purchases:

• SubKeeper Pro ($3.99, one-time) — Removes the 5-subscription limit. Lifetime access. Pay once, no subscription.
• Tip the Developer — Coffee ($0.99) — Optional voluntary tip
• Tip the Developer — Pizza ($2.99) — Optional voluntary tip
• Tip the Developer — Rocket ($4.99) — Optional voluntary tip

Tips are voluntary and give no in-app benefit beyond supporting development. SubKeeper remembers how many tips you've sent (a simple counter stored on your device) so it can show a thank-you message, but nothing else.

For purchase refunds, contact Google Play Support. We cannot issue refunds directly because we never receive your payment information.

🔔 Notifications

SubKeeper sends local notifications reminding you before a subscription charges. These notifications are:

• Generated entirely on your device
• Never sent through our servers or any push notification service
• Controlled by you — you can disable them in Settings or in Android app permissions
• Triggered by the dates you entered, not by any external data source

If you grant the notification permission, Android may record the permission grant in its own logs — this is standard Android behavior and is not controlled by SubKeeper.

👶 Children's Privacy

SubKeeper is rated for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

SubKeeper deals with financial concepts (prices, budgets, subscriptions) that are typically more relevant for adults. Parents or guardians who believe a child under 13 has used this app should simply uninstall it — all data is local and will be removed.

🌍 International Users & GDPR

SubKeeper is available worldwide and supports English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, and delete your data. Because SubKeeper stores all your data locally on your device, you can exercise these rights directly:

• Access — open the app and view all your data
• Export — Settings → Your data → Create backup file
• Correct — tap any subscription to edit it
• Delete — swipe to delete, or uninstall the app to remove everything

We do not have copies of your data on any server, so we cannot send it to you or delete it for you — but we also cannot lose it or be compelled to share it.

🔗 Third-Party Services

SubKeeper uses a minimal set of third-party services:

• Google Play Billing — In-app purchases (Pro unlock and tips). Google handles all payment data. Privacy Policy
• Google Play Services — App distribution, updates, and in-app review prompts. Privacy Policy
• Android Auto Backup (Google) — Optional encrypted backup of app data to your personal Google Drive. Privacy Policy
• TigerApps catalog endpoint — SubKeeper's Settings screen fetches a small public JSON file from replygenius-api-sage.vercel.app listing our other apps. This request does not include any of your subscription data. It's cached for 24 hours. You can ignore the "More from TigerApps" section entirely.
• Flutter (Google) — App framework (open source, no data collection)

SubKeeper does not use: analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, ad networks, Firebase, push notification services, or any AI service. Our cost to run SubKeeper is near zero because we are not sending your data anywhere.

🗑️ Data Deletion Requests

We respect your right to delete your data. SubKeeper does not require an account and stores all data locally, so deletion is immediate and complete.

What gets deleted automatically on uninstall:

• ✅ All subscriptions and bills you added
• ✅ Your budget goal and savings history
• ✅ Skip-cycle history and usage logs
• ✅ Theme, language, and currency preferences
• ✅ Notification settings and reminder schedules
• ✅ Tip counter
• ✅ Your Pro status flag (on this device)

What is retained and why:

• Transaction records may be retained by Google Play Billing for legal and financial compliance purposes — we have no control over this data
• Your Android Auto Backup on Google Drive remains until you disable it or clear it in your Google Account settings
• Manual backup files you exported are wherever you saved them (Downloads, email, Drive) — only you can delete those
• Your Pro purchase receipt is stored by Google Play, so if you reinstall, you can tap "Restore purchases" to re-unlock Pro without paying again

Delete specific data without uninstalling:

• Individual subscription — open it, tap the menu, tap Delete
• All subscriptions at once — Settings → Clear Data, or uninstall
• Budget — Settings → edit budget → Remove budget

💰 Financial Advice Disclaimer

SubKeeper is a tracking and reminder tool. The numbers you see in the app are calculated from the values you enter.

Always verify your actual charges on your bank or credit card statement — SubKeeper has no way to know what you are actually being charged.

🔒 Data Security

Because SubKeeper stores everything locally, there is no central database to breach. The security of your data depends on:

• Your phone's lock screen and encryption (enabled by default on modern Android)
• Your Google Account security, if you use Android Auto Backup
• Where you choose to save manual backup files

We recommend enabling a lock screen PIN, pattern, or biometric, and using the same security practices you already use for other sensitive apps on your device.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
