Welcome to Dopamigo ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by TigerApps / AKZ Marketing LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application Dopamigo — ADHD Planner, Reminders & Focus ("the App").
Dopamigo helps adults with ADHD stay on top of medications, life admin, routines, and focus. It includes reminders, a task-breakdown focus mode, a struggle check-in tracker, a wins journal, forgiving streaks, and an optional AI coach. Some features use AI (Anthropic Claude) to break tasks into steps and to answer ADHD-support questions.
By using the App, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
✅ Dopamigo is built local-first. There are no accounts and no sign-up. Your profile, reminders, medications, check-ins, routines, focus tasks, and wins live on your device only. We do not store them on our servers.
✅ Dopamigo has no ads. We do not use any advertising SDK and we do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers, ever.
✅ Dopamigo does not request or use your location.
Information You Provide (stored on your device only):
⚠️ Important: The task text you submit for AI breakdown, and the messages you send to the AI coach, are sent to our secure Vercel API server, which forwards them to Anthropic's Claude AI for processing. Please don't include sensitive personal information you wouldn't want processed by an AI provider.

If you never use the AI coach or AI task breakdown, the app makes no network requests to our servers at all — it runs fully offline.
When you send a message to the AI coach, your message text and a small amount of context (your chosen name, the number of medications you track — without their names, your current check-in titles, and your routine titles) are sent to our API and forwarded to Anthropic's Claude AI for processing. The AI returns a supportive, ADHD-focused response, which is displayed in the chat and kept on your device for the session.
Free users get 3 coach messages per day; Dopamigo Pro subscribers get 30 per day. Anthropic may retain API inputs for a limited period for safety monitoring per their Privacy Policy. We do not use your conversations for advertising or any purpose other than providing the response.
⚠️ Important: The AI coach provides general support and productivity strategies, not therapy or medical advice. Medication questions belong with your prescriber. For a mental-health crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
The focus mode can split a task into small, doable steps. When you tap "Break it down for me":
Free users get 3 AI breakdowns per day; Dopamigo Pro subscribers get 30 per day. You can always add and reorder steps yourself, with no AI and no internet — the feature is never a hard dependency.
✅ We never sell or share your task text or coach messages with any third party for advertising, training, or any other purpose beyond providing the requested response.
Dopamigo requests access to your device's camera and photo library for two optional features:
The camera is only accessed when you explicitly tap a camera or photo button within the app. Dopamigo never opens the camera in the background and never accesses your photo library without your explicit action.
✅ Photos you add are stored only on your device's local storage and are never uploaded to our servers. You can revoke camera and photo permissions at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Dopamigo → Permissions.
Dopamigo can send you reminders for medications, life-admin tasks, routines, and your daily focus nudges. Notifications are scheduled and triggered locally on your device — they are not pushed from our servers.
To make sure reminders actually fire, Dopamigo uses exact alarms and can ask you to allow it to run without battery restrictions. You can enable, disable, and time these from the app's settings, and the built-in Reminder Health Check lets you test that they arrive. Notifications never include the content of your AI coach chats.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not serve advertisements.

All local data is deleted when you uninstall the app. You can clear specific data at any time from within the app.
Dopamigo offers an optional Pro upgrade processed through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store any payment information. All transactions are handled securely by Google Play.
Available options:
Pro features include unlimited routines, the higher AI coach and AI breakdown limits (30/day each), streak-freeze tokens, PDF and CSV export, custom themes, and all future updates. There are no ads in either the free or Pro version.
✅ No trial traps. If you start the yearly free trial, Dopamigo sends you a reminder two days before it converts. You can cancel any subscription in two taps from your Google Play account, and the free tier stays free forever.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Google Play Store account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Dopamigo is intended for users 13 and older. The AI features require internet access and API processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

Dopamigo is available worldwide. The app interface is currently in English; additional languages are planned. When you use the AI features, your data is processed through our API server (hosted in the United States via Vercel) and Anthropic's AI infrastructure. By using those features, you consent to this data transfer.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to access, correct, and delete your data. Because Dopamigo has no accounts and stores your data locally on your device, you can exercise these rights directly by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. For any data that may be transiently processed on our servers, contact us using the email below.

Dopamigo does not use any advertising SDK, analytics SDK, Firebase, or location provider.
We respect your right to delete your data. Dopamigo does not require account creation, so most of your data is already stored locally and under your full control.
✅ To delete all your local data: uninstall Dopamigo from your device, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Dopamigo → Storage → Clear Data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
